Inspired by a blog about Modern Life Syndrome (MLS), this post is a short piece of reflection on the things I've put in place to keep me MLS free, that will hopefully help you do the same.

The best part about being part of a loose collective of positive psychology addicts is that we can leverage a whole range of different thinking and life experiences to solve the universal problem that every human alive has:
How do I survive and thrive in the 21st Century ?
A few weeks ago I clicked on the latest newsletter from Art of Brilliance expecting to read the latest blog and I got to fill in a survey instead. It articulates 19 symptoms of what we call MLS - Modern Life Syndrome and is a simple but effective tool to help you see how many of the side effects of livng in the 21st century are impacting on you.
Chatting to the team afterwards, it had started as a blog but our resident IT Nerd, Carl (who I love because I'm an IT Nerd but you wouldn't think it when Carl is about), took one look and thought 'I'll publish it as a questionnaire'. It's a genius bit of work and if you want to get the most out of this post, you need to read it, fill it in and see how you score. Please come back here after xx

So you've had a go, got your score out of 19 and have looked at your diagnosis. Hopefully you haven't scored too high and the experience:
1️⃣. Made you smile ✅
2️⃣. Made you think about things a bit more ✅
3️⃣. Made you want to change some things 🤔 maybe ?
It did all of those things for me the first time I did it. I went through and managed to score the grand total of ..... 1 out of 19 (#12 Fitness Tracker). So I had a look at the diagnosis and at first had to disagree with it. I wasn't kidding myself, I'm doing ok. But I thought I would check. Sometimes you can be a bit too optimistic.
