Frequently Asked Questions

Why so many tiers and so little difference ?

You will have seen from the descriptions above, there are only small differences between the tiers. We've done this for a number of reasons:

  1. Most subscription based sites are transactional - you give a little for free and then the more you pay, the more you get. We didn't want to do that, so the free Member tier gives you all our standard blog posts. Flourishing and thriving shouldn't be about affordability.
  2. Our paid tiers are there to give the members who want to support us some options to do that. None of them are extortionate and all of them give a little bit extra in return.
  3. If you are planning to stay and you can afford it, take out a paid subscription and help us keep or Member tier free for everyone.

What is a standard blog post

As a member or supporter you will have access to all of our standard blog posts. Posts that are not considered standard are those that are exclusive to the Patron and Benefactor tiers. These are:

  1. Posts related to the Patron quarterly newsletter.
  2. Early draft posts that the Benefactor tier has access to.
