Chicken or Egg ?

The relationship between our thinking and how we feel is a fascinating subject that we will revist often as it sits at the core of how we can live a great life. This post is about how the words we use get involved in that relationship and influence our wellbeing. In simple terms, our thinking has an effect on our mood and together they affect the type of words we use: feeling happy - positive language; feeling sad - negative language.

But the words we use affect our thinking and our mood affects our thinking, and as they change our thinking, that affects our words and mood. On a good day that interaction can spiral up and it becomes a fab day. On a bad day it can spiral down and become a rubbish day.

This post isn't about the thinking and feeling bit, we'll cover that in another post. It's about calling out some of the words that we commonly use because of the power they have to influence you.
